I'm looking for some feedback. I just purchased a 04 Ram Quad cab sport and was wondering if there is a demand for a turbo kit that would produce 15 to 20 lbs. of boost. One of my sponsors is Turbonetics Turbochargers so producing a kit would not be a problem, I'm just curios to see if there is a demand for such a thing. Not to mention it will keep me busy in the off season.
Thanks for any input.....

i think there is a demand but companies haven't come out with anything yet because they can't crack into the computer. STS is suppose to be coming out with a rear mount kit which just adds an injector into the throttle body for more fuel.
on what motor... you cant run 15 - 20 lbs of boost on the hemi the compression is over 10:1. Im not sure about the 4.7L but thats still a ton of boost if your not going to rebuild the bottom and top ends. Just wont stand up. Id look for something more along the lines of 6 to 8 lbs of boost. I know it doesnt sound like much but believe me you would be suprised at the gains. Especially on the HEMI. Not to mention the electronics Problems that come along w the task... Your lookin at a ton of money! Good luck to you though Lemme know if you decide to go w something. I wouldnt mind doing something w/ my ram
STS turbo's would be your best bett. At only 7psi they have dynoed trucks at 420HP. So just think if you get tuning at 8-9psi would be the highest I would go with a mostl stock hemi that would be around 475HP. That comes to mid-12's in the 1/4mile. Get a boost controller so you run 4psi on the streets and 7-9psi at the track.
