i have ordered an 07 r/t with road and track performance package on it and cannot wait. the first thing i want to do to it is exhaust. i have had 3 dodge rams, two with flowmasters and one with magnaflows. like both but magnaflows to quiet. want to know what exeryone has been doing with flowmasters whether it is full system, cat back, with or without resonators, or with just muffler and pipes out the back. thanks sn8kbit0308

thanks for the advice. after reading all of the posts i still cannot make up my mind. i love the sound of the flowmasters but do not want to get blasted out of the car by the sound inside. i want performance, great deep outside sound, and even if there is some inside sound that is ok but do not want to keep my radio turned all the way up all the time. i have not even got the car yet should be in this week but need to get my mind into the mod mode. thanks again sn8kbit0308

Yes, it's a tough choice. Look into Borla or Corsa <= both great exhaust systems. Borla has two flavors.

Hey Mango, I finally broke down and ordered my exhaust! In the battle of Corsa vs Borla, Corsa won out. Reason, Corsa sound and tips 3.5 vs Borlas 2.25 and last but not least price. Found a system on Ebay for the price of ..ready....$849 n.i.b., shipping incld. Bill Estes Chevy dealership in Indiana had two systems in stock (I don't know why either) and was clearing out the inventory. One day when I become computer savvy I'll post pictures of my finished project. (not as badass as your's but my own little slice of Hemi heaven)

The best way to have good performance and a good outside deep sound is with a crossover (H-Pipe) or preferably an X-Pipe. If you had unlimited resources and sound was your deceiding factor, I would say design a dual exhaust system with dual flowmasters. See how that sounds and if you wanted more then remove the resonators, then cats, the go to headers untill you find a point that it is too loud then leave it the way it is just have an X-pipe put in and it will quit it back down a little. If your going for performance first then Start with headers and go back the other way till you get your desired results.

Sounds like you got a good deal on them and I'm betting you'll be happy with the Corsa. I haven't had any regrets with mine, like most exhaust systems the sound gets better over time. I have no drone but it sounds deeper and richer when I get on it now a days. Looking forward to those pics Enjoy!
