Looks really good.  I want one, but I drive a stick, so some custom fabrication will need to be done.  Did you do it yourself?

yes i did it myself. i work on cars for a living, so i was able to do it at my shop with a lift and all my tools. still took me about 5 hours. there is some cutting required for the bumper brackets and you have to cut the lower radiator support off and extend it using new brackets from the kit, so i took my time and measured everything multiple times to make sure it was right.

I wonder if I can get it to work with a stick, by notching the floor pan, or extending the shifter like in the last gen PA kits.  If I had an auto, I would have ordered the kit by now.  I'm sure it can be done with the manual, but I dont want to get stuck.

I heard I could weld in a piece of a bolt that was the same diameter and the stick shift down at its base to extend the shifter.  I dont know this 100% though because no one has done it on the 05-07 models..

i haven't looked at a manual 05 before, but i'm sure it can be done. i'm sure it would require notching the floor like you said, but i cant see it being a lot. and if you can take your shifter out, you could take it to a welder or machinest for a idea to extend it. i would try it if i had a stick, but don't hold me liable

That truck looks F-ing awesome. I bought the same truck but the Raider version. I have the body lift and leveling kit ready to install but I need to wait till I get to PA to go to my dads shop to use the lift :-) . So any rub from the tires? Is that 2wd

Truck look great. Did you notice any significant differences in how the truck handles with the body lift?

yes its 2wd. and yes there was tire rub. i had to trim the inner fender and a few other places but nothing major or noticable.

the truck doesn't handle bad at all. not much different than stock. i do despratly need a 4.10 gear out back though. i have a 3.7 with 3.55 gear and it's a dog with the tires. a 4.7 might not be so bad with stock gear

Can you please list all the companies and part numbers you used for the leveling kit and body lift? Awesome look!! Me, you, and Monkey need to keep in touch with the different things found for our trucks. We seem to be going in the same direction with the build of our trucks. Do they make a 33x12.5x16? Would that do away with some of the rub issuses you are talking about? Once again, awesome looking truck. Also, will try to put the picks up of the front of my truck that someone was asking for. I hade grill and a rock/bug protector done with Line-X and it turned out nice, at least I think so!  Thanks!

The level kit is the Truxx kit. You can order from their site or Hammerhead 4x4 on ebay is cheaper, i made him a lower off and they took it. The body lift is the only one made for our trucks by Performance Accessories. I got it for around $235 off ebay but it took like 3 weeks to get it so you might email to check stock first. a 33x12.5x16 would be the same overall size but just for a smaller rim.
a 265/75/16 would work without rub but is about 1" shorter overall. the rub i had wasn't bc of the width of the tire or backspacing of the wheel, but bc of the tire just being a little to tall and would hit on edge of front bumper and inner fender. also hit the front splash gaurds the worst where they flare out right in front of front doors.

procompwheels.com has a great conversion tool to calculate tire size's

if you could find a 285/70 or 275/75
those would both be good sizes. i think firestone makes a 275/75/16 or 17 in their destination at

i got the grill of ebay. it was like 70 plus shipping. it looks good but the fasteners that they sent with it were real cheesy and one of the welds broke but you cant tell with the hood closed. i would get a more expensive one if could do it again.
