hey john...It sounds like you are the man to talk to about parts for dakotas...i really like the setup cyclone_06 has with his grill inserts. If there were a bunch of people here, could we get a group buy or anything? I also dont see much on your site as to your products...can you get anything from your vendor list pretty much? thanks!!

You would be better off to e mail John. His e mail address is John@southeastrt.com Hes a busy guy, but he checks his mail quite often.

He also has two sites. www.southeastperformance.com and www.southeastrt.com the rt site is for the dakotas.

#20 here and first time post

Hey I have a quick question, not sure where it's supposed to go,
but with an explanation first,
my wife's QC tonight has been sitting turned off in the driveway for hours, I came downstairs looked out the front window and to see only her driver side headlight is on.
I went out, put the key in the ignition (I'd heard that D/C's have probs with them) jiggled it to see if it had a bad connection, still on. Started the truck, now both headlights come on (it has daytime running lights).
Turned the truck off, still the driver side headlight remains on. So I started pulling out and replacing fuses under the hood, so as not to kill the battery. I got to the 20A CTM B fuse and the light went out. Kept the fuse out and closed the hood, the dealer can fix it tomorrow.

Anybody have any suggestions as to why the light came on in the first place??

I am also a new member. I have a 2003 SLT 4x4 quad cab, and I'm looking to do some modifications to it. Does anyone on here know some inexpensive ways to increase horsepower? I'm not sure if something's wrong with it, but it doesn't seem to have very much "get-up-&-go". I especially don't like the way it shifts (auto). Has anyone tried one of the "chips" offered for Dakota's? If so, how did it work?
I'm also looking to put a suspension lift on it. Does anyone know where I can find a lift for it? I haven't had very much luck looking on the internet.

Thanks in advance...

What year is it? When I was test driving an '04, I killed the engine before I killed the lights and they wouldn't shut off. The sales lady says if you kill the engine before you kill the lights, they stay on for 7 mins. (These new trucks are gonna be some getting used to).

I just inherited my 98. Never was a dodge fan but this truck is like driving a car, very comfortable ... a real nice ride. I just love it! Lucky #25!
