After replacing my 3.5 with a boneyard one I was getting a missfire, and missfire on 2,4,6,and check eng lite, would stay on all the time. After serching this forum and other, I changed ,coil, wires, plugs, crank and cam sensor,Ive taken the front cover and check timing, all mark aligned perfectly but nothing work. Engine was running very good but I was always getting the same code. Finally I decided to really check the timing. I took timing cover off again and aligned timing mark, again a perfect fit, then I took cam cover off of back of the head, and placed the timing tool on left head,to do so I had to turned the cam ,witch now moved the timing mark one knotch over to the right when looking at the engine. Now the other tool would not fit on right head . Had to take timing belt off and turned the cam for the tool to fit. Now realinged crank and cam pullys, reinstalled belt and covers. It's been 4 day's now .Even if car ran good before, it's running better now ,smoother and stronger and best of all no eng lite yet. Thought some of you would find that interesting.
