Hello everyone, I'm new here. I just got my charger! I've been wanting it before it even came out, I traded in my ford F-150 truck, I'll miss my truck but I'm more than happy with my decision. My question is, which type of gas should I put regular, super, or premium? And which name brand is best? I normally stick to chevron. I got a 2007 R/T, 5.7 LT

You should run fine running 89 and up from there. I'm odd and try to fill at half a tank and alternate filling up between 89 and 91, so I always have a mix going on. I also run a 91 Super Chips tune.

I use only 92 but have used 89 a few times. Do the math you save nothing. 10 gallons @ $3.50 for mid = $35.00, 10 at Premium $3.60 = $36.00... I have used many different fuels and mine loves 76 or Shell. Chevron in the Seattle area makes it sluggish off the line. I used to use only Chev for years but I had friends ride with me and ask is something wrong with my car and it was when I used Chev fuel. DO NOT SKIMP ON FUEL TO SAVE $1-2 dollars!!! MAKES NO SENCE! The only way you are going to save money on gas in this beast is to let it sit in the drive way.

You are right, it would be better to use premium gas and spend the buck or two and keep the engine runnin good! Chevron here in the bay area has been good so far in the cars I've had, but since this is a high performance car, do you suggest I use 76? I'll try it for a while see how it works out. Thank you

I believe 89 is recommended. Higher octanes aren't neccesarily better. Octane isn't quality. I would avoid mom and pop places and go with a Citgo or 76 etc. ie; Mobile uses there own gas, trucks, pumps...A generic gas station buys the cheapest availeable.
