Cat Removal question - 6/1/2007 10:21:53 PM    StreetScraper99   Posts: 17 Joined: 5/26/2007 Status: offline So i noticed that a 99 3.9l dakota sport has two oxygen sensors one, right before the catalytic converter the other right after it,  if i remove the catalytic converter and put a pipe in the space, I know its not street legal, but i was wondering what effect it would have on the computer, I mean would the computer see that the two sensors are reading the same and make the motor run leaner or something. or if i remove it would  the check engine light  come one. or etc any problems it could lead me to would be nice to know.
