2004 Dakota 4WD reg cab bump giggles - 9/23/2004 6:42:32 AM    truckerbill   Posts: 1 Joined: 9/23/2004 Status: offline I just bought a new 2004 Dakota 4x4 SLT with regular cab. The vehicle is perfect with the exception of bump giggles in certain case. Have others noticed this and is there anything that can be done about it (such as some aftermarket options, etc). It has a rear stabilizer bar and on/off road tires. It is a beauty other than the stability problem. Great acceleration etc. Bill Post #: 1

My 2004 Club Cab SLT did the same thing, until I realized it was the rear limited slip differential. It can make the rear end dance around a bit if you know how. Now I know what causes it, it's just a matter of being careful under certain driving conditions, lest I lose control of the beast. (in reply to omio) Post #: 3
