2004 Dakota 4WD reg cab bump giggles
 

I just bought a new 2004 Dakota 4x4 SLT with regular cab. The vehicle is perfect with the exception of bump g***les in certain case. Have others noticed this and is there anything that can be done about it (such as some aftermarket options, etc). It has a rear stabilizer bar and on/off road tires. It is a beauty other than the stability problem. Great acceleration etc.

I noticed that same thing in the Club Cab that I test drove, but the Quad Cab has none of that!!!!

Yeah. My 2004 Club Cab SLT did the same thing, until I realized it was the rear limited slip differential. It can make the rear end dance around a bit if you know how. Now I know what causes it, it's just a matter of being careful under certain driving conditions, lest I lose control of the beast.
