Default ABS & PARK BRAK LIGHT ON

I just picked up a 95 dakota that satup for about a year.
the abs and brak lights on the dash are on all the time.
I tried replacing the braks (all). no chang also braks go to floor.
help help!!!!!!

I had the same problem on my '94 Dakota Sport ...
My mechanic found that my fuse for my ABS/break light was blown ... It was replaced and the pretty much fixed my problem ...

As for the "breaks to the floor" check your fluid and/or check your lines for leaks ...

ABS light and Brake lights on usually means your vehicle speed sensor in your rear differential has gone bad. You'll have a hard time finding the right one (not the tranny VSS) at an auto parts store. Your local dealership will definately be able to get it for you.

Is your speedometer working below 25mph?

i've got a 99 Dakota, manual v-6. can't find the speed sensor to replace it. does anyone know where i can find it at. not in manual. thanks for your help.
