Default rear end gearing

I just bought a hemi durango SLTw/ 4 wd and tow package. I was wondering what the rear end gearing would be and also would it be LSD?

Thanks,
Redneck Ron

Default RE: rear end gearing

3.55 : 1 is the only ratio available witht the SLT. With the Limited there were two ratios to choose from.
3.55 : 1 and 3.92 : 1.

I don't recall hearing that there was an LSD.

Open the glove compartment door and on the opposite side of the door you will find a sticker that has that information... Im sure on the ram but not on the durango... If your feeling up to it there is a sticker on the axle that has that info on it too if its not too old and has came off. Im pretty sure it would be in the glove box though. Most likely 3.55, but could be 3.92... as far as LSD you want to look for whats called TRAK LOC or someting like that. I think thats what they say... Depends on the part number... If you still cant find what it is printed anywhere, try and get me the part # for the axle and I will tell you exactly what it is and isnt
