Default Do 2WD D's have vented brake rotors...??

JUST IGNORE THIS POST - ONCE I GOT THE FRONT WHEELS OFF I REALISED THIS IS RUBBISH

Hi,

I've got a 2WD 1999 5.9l D and I'm battling with the front brakes at the moment...
One of the things I've noted is that the rotors on my D are non vented i.e. they are just a single solid disc.
Looking at the Haynes manual and also www.dodgeparts.com there appears to be no distinction between
2WD and 4WD D's for rotors and yet the pictures suggest that the rotors are internally vented.
So is my vehicle standard or not...??

Chris

Mine have vents running through the middle. If nothing else order yourself some drilled and slotted rotors.
