Default Not staying started?

So I am just getting around to lookin at my truck. When I go to start it, it doesn't want to stay started. I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it started. Any ideas? Oh yea, I its a 98 and has about 98 thousand miles if that helps any.

sounds to me like the battery. these trucks because of the computers need a healthy battery. not like the old days when you could disconnect the battery and the alternator would keep things running. after awhile when its running does it run good or spit and sputter?

What about the possibility of the alternator? If its not working it wont charge like it supose to.

I don't know if the throttle body has been cleaned or not. I just recently got the truck from my brother. I was thinking about the TB but I don't know how to check to see if it is dirty or not.
