Default Stuttering

A few days ago my car starting acting odd. When I push on the gas pedal more than 1/3 of the way down, my car will kind of stutter. What I mean is that it won't go as fast and smooth as it should. I checked some of the posts and have pretty much ruled out the ECU. Any Ideas? Thanks

sounds like there is not enough fuel coming in. maybe injectors or fuel pump, or air filter cloged up.

I wouldn't totally rule out leaky capacitors on any of the control units. They can and will cause odd problems. It's easy enough to access that is it at least worth looking at, just to be sure.

I took apart the ECU and the capacitors were all fine and the board was ingood shape. What other control units should I look at? Also, I am starting to wonder if it could be my col air intake I put on last year. About two weeks after I put it on, I put my car in storage for the winter so I am trying to remember if his problem was occuring before than. I thought maybe the intake was in a place where it isn't getting enough air.

Where applicable...the TCU and ECS computers.

It could be a case of bad plug wires, bad plugs, incorrect plug gap, fuel filter, air filter, vacuum leak(s), bad gas.

I really think it is the fuel pump because the same thing was going on with my dad's truck last month. What this fuel pump work?

I know it says it will fit my car but I am always nervous about buying parts off ebay. Also, will the walk through on Stealth 316 work on NA cars?

that pump probably will fit but i woud check first with local auto parts store(at least in most stores they will let you bring the part back f it doesn't fit). if walk trough on 316 is for twin turbo stealth then it should work on NA cars, i thinkn twin turbo cars just have higher pressure fuel pump. (i'm just not sure what you mean by stealth 316)

there is probably a reason it's cheaper. The guy have good feedback and one year warranty, so i would probably get it but if it's cheaply manufactored fuel pump it might go bad in a year and a half.
