Project the original is louder there is an extra baffle in the super 40. Cess CEL iss check engine light and your o2 will lean out the fuel because without the cat the excess will not be burned off and the o2 will read it as if the engine is running rich.

ORIGINAL: hydrashocker Mangna Flow is a quieter muffler than Flow Master. But I like the sound of Magna Flow. It has a good low grunt and it doesn't sound so high pitched. I have a Magna Flow cat back 3" with a 22" muffler. I like a nice sound but I don't like to wake everyone up when starting my beast. Not just directed at Hydrashocker, but is this what you have: 7962055448 item number on EBAY. It says catback exhaust, but that doesn't mean it has the cat also does it? This pretty much just goes from the end of teh cat to the tip of the exhaust, right? So I would need an cat also?

Yes it is after the cat so if you do want aftermarket you will have to get the cat as well. If I were you I would just use the stock pipes since they flow really well already and will not rot out for the life of the truck and why throw all that extra $ away on it just to get rid of the surface rust that isn't going any further. As for the o2 sims I'm sure they would work fine I forgot about telling you about them.

I though things would have to be cut. o2 sims? what is this? Thanks!
