i have a 92 stealth es dohc. Iwas woundering if I could put 3.5L heads from a montero on to my car. I would rebuild them and im pretty sure they would bolt up or would they? Also I was thinking of custom fitting a single turbo to my y pipe instead of my manifolds to get equal flow but I was wondering if it would be to hard to do or would tear up my motor. I won't use much boost only like 10 to 15 pounds. I dont want to spend much money on it all thats why im not doing a whole tt conversion but i just want some extra power. Any info on any of this?

I wouldnt try to rig up some custom turbo setup, I would just do it the right way so you dont end up breaking something, and the 3.5l heads shouldnt fit in your 3.0l stealth, but you should wait till thestealth comes on to clearify.

i was looking at one turbo setups before and i was able to find all the parts at about $1000. I'm not sure how much tt convertion costs but one turbo is an option(just not common).I wouldn't think that 3.5L heads from montero would fit. Personaly i think 10-15 psi is a lot of boost, when i was thinking to do mine i was going to set it at 5 psi(my stealth have a lot of miles)

10-15 psi is quiet a lot of boot for a car, little would in my opinion be 5 or less. but the block probably cant fit 3.5l heads or anything.

10-15 is ALOT if you look at the stock TT's, they run 12 i think.

I've never seen a side by side comparison of the heads, so I don't have any idea if they would bolt up or not.  There is really nothing wrong with the stock heads, especially if you have a reputable shop port and polish them.

You won't be able to run that much boost (for very long anyway) on stock internals.  5 to 8 lbs is about all you want to run on 10:1 compression.  If you want to run more boost, you'll need to upgrade your fuel system, engine/fuel management, engine internals and you'll need a datalogger et. al.  It's not so easy as just slapping on a turbo.

now, why in the world would you want 8 turbos??? I did seen double supercharged gto tho, those superchargers were sticking up higher than the car it self. But eight turbos....
I wold think that after you get twin turbos the effectivness of next ones goes down to almost nothing.

he might somehow made it where each turbo corresponds to one cylinder; but it's puzzling on how he would do that. To think having 8 turbos set at 5 psi each would give 40 psi total, so the engine would just melt of exsesive boost. somebody have to explain to me how 8 turbos would work, lol.

Im sure every aspect of that engine is specially modified, cause I mean ive seen people blow their engines with a single turbo, not doing it with 8 is quiet amazing, he defiently knows what thes doing.

i looked at the site and it says that he got only 700hp ou of it. sounds inefficient but cool. Corvette with twin turbo setup makes almost 1000hp so having 8 turbos making 700hp is a waist of turbos and space under the hood.

for a 57 chevy... probably using a older true muscle engine is quiet a bit. a corvette has the new technology that wasnt available many years ago.

stock 69 camaro with 427 could put out about 500hp(COPO ordered), adding twin turbo to it should make about 700hp
and i think corvettes from that time with a 350 could make about 400hp, adding twin turbo to the makes about 700hp
63 corvette: Max power: 1,532 hp at 5,900 rpm and 1,580 lb-ft. at 3,900 (32 lbs boost, 109 octane) Engine small-block Chevy 434, twin turbo
