Default viper engine

ok im new to this place but i was wondering if i could install a viper engine with the transmission from an SRT-10 into my 1993 S-10.considering i have enough money, time, energy, and space.also how much more horsepower can i get out of a viper engine than it already has.

thanks

It would be more than tight.....but possiable. Your Truck can't be much smaller than a Viper.
When you look under the hood of the Viper, there's not much room left. We have a guy here in California that has the 454 in a small Truck.

Good Luck,
Quick

The Viper engine is a 505, you can do anything. it will just be more money. You mite have to
mod under the hood. Good luck on that one. S10 geting his power from DODGE now that
is funny to me.[sm=icon_rofl.gif]J/K.

Midnight, 502 isa GM engine, which is what he is referring to. To be honest that is what I would put into it. The aftermarket is better for a big block Chevy than it is for the Viper V10. Z06 engine would also be a good choice, although, at this time, guessing more aftermarket goodies for the 502.

Posted from seat 2C on Northwest Flight 705 while waiting for maintenance to replace the pilots seat! What BS, guess the back massager quit working.
