Speakers - 5/9/2007 9:07:55 PM    ziggyz   Posts: 1 Joined: 5/9/2007 Status: offline I Have a 99 Durango with the factory Infinity system. I want to replace the factory speakers with aftermarket ones. I have tried the Infinity 6022si and thay sound like crap. Any suggestions? Does anyone know what the radio rms is? Post #: 1

RE: Speakers - 5/10/2007 3:33:28 AM    Zeppelinrocks   Posts: 294 Joined: 1/24/2006 Status: offline Those infinity speakers should sound pretty good, get rid of the factory amp and get a cheap 4 channel amp and hook the infinitys up to the amp.  If you want to upgrade get infinity Kappa's, i have them in my ram and they sound amazing. RE: Speakers - 5/14/2007 11:21:49 PM    god_complx   Posts: 135 Joined: 4/20/2006 Status: offline If you are willing to spend the money there are few speakers that equal focal.  Going with the k2p series may cost you 5 or 6 bills.  Going with the BE series will put you in the 2k plus.  The only problem is that they love power.  I am running 2 tweets and 2 4", and 2 6.5" Utopia 165s, as well as 2 11" FOcal k2p subs, all in my magnum, powered by hifonics olympus and hercules amps AWESOME!!!  You can also look at rainbow, scanspeak, morel, to name a few.  If you want to spend little money then Infinity or Boston is the way to go, if you truely want aural pleasure, thats the way to go!
