My car has been idling weird for a couple weeks so I checked out stalth 316 and looked at the IAC page. I checked the resistances and all were fine except 1 and 2, which was about 2 ohms. Is the only way to fix this to buy a whole new IAC?

Also, I checked the ECU and the capacitors and board were all fine.

Even if there is a way to fix it I would just buy a whole new IAC, old car so things are gonna need replacing. Just like if you buy 1 axle its good to just buy both. More parts you replace rather then fix, the better off your car will be in the long run.

The IAC can be rebuilt.  They are pretty expensive from the dealer (dealer only item).  The best price from a dealer I've found is through Rockville Mitsubishi.  It was cheaper with shipping than anything I could find local.
