Default CODE P0161

I got this code reading (through the ignition key). Will this affect the performance or running condition of my durango if i will not have this fix right away? hope to get some response.. Thank you.

P0161 is 02 sensor 2/2 heater performance. You may have a bad 02 sensor. You be still under warranty. ck with you local dealer.

You can still use it but if you have a bad o2 sensor it will make the D run like crap your pcm will either start dumping fuel and you will get horrible mileage or it will lean out the fuel and that can cause you to overheat and warp your heads etc. Get it taken care of asap.
