Default Cat-back Systems

Hi,

I'mlooking for a cat-back exhaust system for my 97 5.9L Ram 1500. I've checked out many systems and was wondering if anyone has found one that they thinkstands out from the rest.

Default Cat-back Systems

on the top of this page there is a blue colored search link you should
click and do a search on this site about 5.9 exhaust, or just exhaust
and your bound to find tons of answers for your question, as this might
be one of the most covered and asked questions on this site. lots of
opinions are thrown around based on noise or perfomance, and which you
like better...flowmaster 40 series are quite popular, but borla seems
to be the top choice, also gibson has one and dynomax and millions
more. thats the best i can give you as i have yet to put an exhaust on
my truck, hope it helps

I have the Mopar Performance Cat Back Exhaust, I really love the sound, although it looks stock and that's boring...

Alot of us picked a muffler we liked and had a muffler shop install it. It's usually cheaper that way and you decide where you want the tail pipes to go.

I paid a local shop to weld on 3" catback exhausts on bothof my trucks. All I really noticedwas that both trucks are noisier. I may have picked up a couple of horsepower. Most people do it to make their trucks sound better. I have 3 chamber Flowmaster on my Ram an Exlerator muffler on my Dakota. Both exhausts cost me under $200 each BTW.

I picked upmore performance when I switched my oil and gear lube to Amsoil, hand polished my throttle bodies, and built my own intakes.
