Default Mopar Performance PCMS

been doing alot of research on these lately, and damn is a 2000 Mopar PCM really that hard to find, all i can get is 98-99, no 00 unless i want to pay full retail of 350 or so..

I have a buddy that has a 99 Mopar PCM and i was going to stick it on mine (2000 Dak) to see if it would work or through any codes or mess up my timing ect...

ive herd from past stories that peoples engines whould stay on for 15 secs after they turn it off, speedo and other gauges would go crazy, ect..

but that was a PCM for a Ram going into a Dak.. so i dont know.

The question i have is,

HAS anyone actually tried swtiching out diffrent year PCMS? If so what are the turnouts.

Im going to be putting in a 99 Mopar Performance PCM in my 2000 Dak and see if anything goes crazy, but has anyone else did any experiemnts?

Also i know by each year they changed minor voltage and sensors... so im thinking this could not work, but it could work.. lol
