I can't keep logged in to save my life. Several times a day I am constantly having to re-login. I have checked the cookie box but this does not change anything. I am a member of a dozen or so message boards and this is the only message board that I experience this problem with. E-bay and Yahoo make me login every 24 hours but aside from that some places I have been logged in for months without a hiccup. What's the deal with this site?

do you have your cookies enabled for this site?

Unless there is another setting than the box you check when you login then Yes, I have this checked every time.

hmm..maybe one of our techie guys can give you some more insight to this. there are security settings built into your browser that might not allow your computer to "know" to stay logged in...ill see if i can get someone to help you out..i cant recall where it is right now.

I have the same problem off and on. Sometimes I can stay logged in for a few days, sometimes a few minutes if I'm lucky. I know it's not my browser settings and this is the only forum it happens on.

I would agree, it very well might be my PC but it also could have something to do with the script on this site and the way it interfaces with my pc since this is the only site that I have this issue with.

I've had the same problem off and on in the past. It seemed to happen most often after I did some sort of "system cleaning", like a defrag or an ad-aware/spybot check or a tune-up utilities check in conjunction with a restart.......

Any solutions to fix this? I have to say it's looking like I get about 12 - 24 hours between logins so it's better all by itself.

I get that all the time too. sometimes it can be like every couple hours I have to log back in, and sometimes it can be a day. I leave my computer on most of the time and sometimes it on this site. but I'm amember on another forum and I think I had to log in maybe 3 times in the past year.


what I hate is when I'm doing a long post, and then kicks you out and you have to type it again. now I just copy every post before I send it.

I noticed it did not let me stay logged in all week but this weekend I have only had to login once. Maybe it's fixed.

I am having to log in everytime I get to the forum.... sometimes I've had to log in while browsing, I've searched and all my settings seem the same... and I haven't done a defrag or cleanup recently...

This is strange. I'm using Firefox and never have to re-login unless I hit the logout button. This holds true over all three of my computers (2@work and 1@home).

It does lag a good bit, though...rather frequently it'll just lag terribly...I just have to wait the 5 minutes or however long it takes to clear up.

I'm not using firefox, I'm using IE. Don't balme IE either unless IE is not compatable with only this site. This is the only site I have ever had login issues with ever.

Can't blame IE since I have the same issue you do and I'm running firefox... I get the lag often too.

I've had this problem for awhile and it doesn't look like it's gonna stop and I've deleted all the old cookies and everything like the tech part says and still have this issue. I never had the problem before the change, but I've had it ever since.

I've been getting it more and more often lately, it's starting to get annoying.
