just got a ram air as a gift, got a 97 with 3.5, didn't have instrctions. do i just disconnct my box and hook up the pipe and filter, or is there more to it. i imagine i remove the whole box. i looked into the hose and it seems to only have a 1" opening in the middle, doesn't that defeat the purpose. i did take the original filter out but left the bottom of the box. my car started overheating. any ideas?
