It wasnt the point of weather it was faster or not. He tried to pass, he got denied... If he had a jet engine he might have won. But he didn't and niether did I. As I said it was a fast lil toy. But it does not matter I would not be caught dead driving a mazda.

I don't have evic, so maybe someone can help me figure out what my MPG is. I use up about half a gas tank in 5 days, this is when I'm at my best driving habits. From home to work, it's about 12 miles and back to work that's another 12 miles. From my house to my gf's house, I believe it's like 15-18 miles and same coming back home. Is this averege?

You need to reset your trip meter when you fill it up. Then drive around like you normaly do. When you go to refill you take the miles and devide it by gallons. 200 miles devided by 10 gallons is 20mpg. That would be great mileage and doubt anyone sees that unless they drive mostly freeway... I get 14 in town and best I have seen on freeway is 25.5mpg. I never trust those computers I have seen so many different numbers, using the math is the best way to do it.

Ok, Here's what I got so far... I filled up sunday night, from the gas station to my gf's house and back to my house was a total of 18 miles. If you wanna include that. Here's the rest... Monday- To work it's 11 miles and back home 11 miles. From my house to my gf's house is 12 miles and back home another 12 miles, that's a total of 46 miles in one day. Reapeat for Tuesday and Wednesday, that equals to 156 miles since Sunday when I filled up to Wednesday night and another 11 miles just today (Thursday) from my house to my job equals to 167 miles total. As of right now I have just a little over half a gas tank. Can anyone tell me my average MPG? Its' too early in the morning for me to figure it out plus when it comes to math and pretty dam stupid.

ORIGINAL: tdmopar59 wow these get a lot better gas mileage then i would have thought!! hmm.... Yeah the chargers I think get the best mileage for a car that has 350HP. The numbers I hear of range anywhere from only 23 on the HW to 27-28 on the HW.

OK, let's try this again. The next time you fill up, reset (zero) your trip odometer. Then, the next time you fill up, write down how many miles are on the odometer and how many gallons of gas it took to fill it up. Then divide the number of gallons of gas INTO the total number of miles you drove on the last fill up. That will tell you how many mpg you got. You can't do it by tryng to figure out how many miles you drive in one week and GUESS' at how much gas you have left in your tank, or how many gallons you used. So - fill up and write down your odometer reading. Next time you fill up, write down your odometer reading again - it will be more than the first figure you wrote down. Then, how many gallons of gas did it take to fill up your tank? Say your odometer read 10,000 miles when you filled up the first time. The next time you fillled up it read 10,200 and it took 10 gallons to fill up the tank. That means you drove 200 miles on 10 gallons of gas. So, you got 20 mpg. got it? dave
