Default tire sizes for my 95 ram

i have a 1995 dodge ram 4x4 1500 and i was wondering what the biggest size tires i could put on it would be. truck is stock no lift

Default tire sizes for my 95 ram

i know for a fact the 285/75/16-33/10.50fit well and the 305/70/16-33.5-12.50 should fit but im not sure about the 315/70/16 its a full 35-12.50 <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

I heard that the 285's might rub you turn sharp. Not sure if it's true or not, because I went with the 265/75 R16's, just in case. heard the 255/85 R16'sfit well, because they are thinner (still 33's if that's what your looking for)</P>


265/75 R16 is stock on a 4x4 I think</P>

The 285 shouldn't rub when making sharp turns... that is the largest tire allowed before the rubbing begins. It really might depend on the brand you buy though.I watched 285/75/R16 Kelly's be put on a 99 Ram 4x4 and it was fine, no rubbing.
