Default 18 spline to a 25 spline?

lol there are alot of people online right now.
ok back to the topic. in my 91 stealth i need to change tranys in, but i think its a 18 spline (made in june or july of 91, my parts car is a 92 made in march so its most likly a 25 spline.
so say my parts car is a 25 and the 91 is a 18 what do i need to take out of the parts car to make it work? do i only need the trany and the transfercase from the parts car to make the 25 spline work with my 91?
lol sorry for all the numbers

I agree about the people who flame on 3si...but use the forum search feature (not the Google one) and you should be able to find some threads on this subject.

I know you will need the tranny and transfer case and possible the cv axles/halfshafts. I think the driveshaft is the same.

i searched again and this is what i got.
my question is, all the stuff that is listed that i need, is that stuff all attached to the trany and tc already? if not were is it located?

The parts that will need to be swapped out include the 25 spline output shaft, output shaft seal, TC input spool, sun gear, VCU, pinion shaft, and transaxle bell housing. If you have an 18 spline TC with out the bolt near the center of the “Getrag” cover, then the front TC housing, passenger side bearing and input gear will also need to be swapped out along with the TC spool as one of the bearing bores in the housing is a larger diameter for the 25 spline spool and the hole in the gear for the spool is also larger in diameter. (More info is bellow on TC housings/spools.)

Those are the internal parts that need swapped. In your case, since you already have a donor car, it would be easier to swap out everything.
