Hey guys, I made my first trip to the track this last Wednesday night and am pretty happy with my results. My first pass was a 14.33 at 98.89 mph. After talking to a guy who had a Magnum R/T, I lowered my rear tire pressure down to 20 psi. Helped get my 60' time down to a 2.16 with an e.t. of 14.16 at 99.31 mph. Was pretty happy at this point considering the only mods I have done so far (only owned my charger r/t for a month) have been a K&N CAI, Jet stage 2 chip, and 180 thermostat. The best was yet to come...last pass was a 2.10 60' 14.04 e.t. @ 99.60 mph. I'm sure next week I'll be able to squeek out a 13.9?, but for having 4 doors and weighing as much as it does, I was both impressed and happy. It was great beating my friend who brought his stock 95 C4 vette and had a best pass of 14.11 @ 99.3

Congrats! I think those are great times. I've had mine to the track once and could only muster a 15.2 @ about 95. Of course, I was running with a density altitute of over 7500 feet too, and didn't lower the tire pressure. I need to get the 180 T-stat, and try it again this spring with lower tire pressure. Of course, in this altitute (over a mile high to start with), I'll never get your times. (Need to get into some lower altitute and some good, heavy air) How many miles on your car? After about 5,000 to 10,000 you should see some improvement, too. dave
