Hey guys, I made my first trip to the track this last Wednesday night and am pretty happy with my results.  My first pass was a 14.33 at 98.89 mph.  After talking to a guy who had a Magnum R/T, I lowered my rear tire pressure down to 20 psi.  Helped get my 60' time down to a 2.16 with an e.t. of 14.16 at 99.31 mph.  Was pretty happy at this point considering the only mods I have done so far (only owned my charger r/t for a month) have been a K&N CAI, Jet stage 2 chip, and 180 thermostat.  The best was yet to come...last pass was a  2.10  60'  14.04 e.t. @ 99.60 mph.  I'm sure next week I'll be able to squeek out a 13.9?, but for having 4 doors and weighing as much as it does, I was both impressed and happy.  It was great beating my friend who brought his stock 95 C4 vette and had a best pass of 14.11 @ 99.3

Congrats!  I think those are great times.  I've had mine to the track once and could only muster a 15.2 @ about 95. Of course, I was running with a density altitute of over 7500 feet too, and didn't lower the tire pressure.   I need to get the 180 T-stat, and try it again this spring with lower tire pressure.  Of course, in this altitute (over a mile high to start with), I'll never get your times.  (Need to get into some lower altitute and some good, heavy air)  How many miles on your car?  After about 5,000 to 10,000 you should see some improvement, too.

Man, you gotta get someone to go with you to get some good video of that beast!   Sounds great.  How about some outside video/sound?  Have you experienced the dreaded Hemi "drone" when it goes into MDS mode?

I live in Florida and therefor am barely above sea level, although it was sorta humid and still around 70 degrees on the night I went.  A friend shot video of the race between myself and the vette, but someone stood infront of him for a few seconds while he was shooting so there is a bit of profanity in it. Lol  not sure I want to offend anyone's ears on here.  Havent had any issues with the drone of mds cuz I'm still running stock exhaust.  Haven't quite saved enough for an aftermarket system yet...but hopefully will be able too in the next month or so. Its an 06' and I purchased it about a month ago with around 14,000 miles on it from an older couple about 3 hours from where I live.  With what they wanted for it, it was well worth the drive. Got it for $23,700 and from what I can tell, it has every option except for the navigation system
