How many miles before I should change the timing belt in my 97 3.5L Intrepid?

Chrysler recomends 105,000 miles, but I changed mine at 90,000 (just used to old school rules!).

I don't know ifmy grandmother's 94Intrepid's 3.5 liter engine's (158,000 miles) timing belt has ever been changed? Do you believe that the original timing belt would las this long?

Maybe. I think the recommend change is 120k. Her belt may be at it's end. Beter safe than sorry, change it!
