I HAVE A 2000 4X4 DODGE RAM OFF-ROAD WITH 5.9 AND I AM GOING TO ALL SYNTHETIC FLUIDS AND I WAS WANTING TO KNOW WHAT FLUIDS TO USE.....LIKE THE DIFFERENTIALS(WHAT WEIGHTS) AND THE TRANSMISSION(I HEARD ABOUT THE DODGE RECCOMENDATIONS AND DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO USE ,THE SYNTHETIC OR DODGE RECCOMENDATIONS)AND THE OIL,SHOULD I USE THA AMSOIL OR MOBILE ONE? I USED MOBILE ONE BEFORE BECAUSE THE PERSON I BOUGHT THE TRUCK OFF OF USED IT THE WHOLE TIME AND I DIDNT HAVE THE TRUCK VERY LONG SO I DONT KNOW HOW IT REALLY DID....SO IF YOU GUYS CAN JUST GIVE YOUR OPINIONSI WOULD APPRECIATE IT....I KNOW THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A QUESTION ASKED OVER AND OVER SO IF YOU GUYS DONT WANT TO MESS WITH IT THEN THATS OK TOO... I WILL SEE IT ON THE FORUM SOMETIME OR ANOTHER...LOL....OK THANX!!!!

I've used both Mobil-1 and Amsoil. Didn't have any problems with either one.

I agree with "dustyloins" truly you just can't go wrong. If you feel ambitious, and like to see bickering, search up my name and you can see a good thread on this subject.
Red-line also makes one hell-of a good diff oil.
