I have a '02 4.7L 4x2 that's completely stock. I'd like to get an
ECU/Intake/Headers and possibly exhaust for it, or any other easy mod
(do they make an underdrive pulley for the 4.7L?). Just curious
what everyone recommends/uses and who they shop with? I have a
number of vendors I buy parts for my '91 300ZX TT from... but
haven't found anyone yet to buy truck parts from... what I know
so far:

Intake: Got a K&N Style Setup
PCM: Mopar PCM is the way to go...

Headers: JBA or Gibson?

Exhaust: ?

Underdrive Pulley: Got an ASP

Anything else?

Reason I ask about the UD Pulley is I'm about to replace the serpentine
belt and tensioner, and figured if there is a UD available, now would
be the time to replace it. Anyone know?

Thanks!

It's not an ECU, it's a PCM...

I have a 94 5.9L, so it's not the same, but I have the K&amp;N FilterCharger System, Mopar Performance PCM, Mopar Performance Cat Back Exhaust, and Edelbrock Ceramic Shorty Headers. The Mopar Exhaust is great, although looks completely stock which is boring. LOL! I'm not sure what I'll do next with the exhaust. <IMG src=smileys/smiley36.gif border="0">

Ah... so what's the difference with a PCM? Just an
addon/piggyback? I'm just used to EProm upgrades (that is what is
done on my Nissans). Any suggestions where to buy the Mopar stuff?

Thanks!

Nothing really as far as I know... the PCM is the computer of the truck. It's just Mopar calls it PCM not ECU.

I got my PCM with my truck, rolled it in, so it came from the dealer. My Exhaust also came from a dealership... unfortunately, I wasn't connected to a dealer like I am now... now I have a fiancee in the parts department andI used to work at two in my area so I get discuonts frequently.

Do you have a Chrysler employee friend?? They get discounts at dealerships.

I got my K&amp;N System and Headers at a local performance parts store, Ramchargers.

Where are you located?

I get great deals from the dealership... so it's easier for me. I've bought stuff from Summit Racing Online before... haven't had good experiances, but for the most part, they're good people. LOL!

Anyone have any knowledge on Gibson or JBA headers? They seem to
be the most widely sold headers for the 4.7L 02 Ram... They have
about the same HP gains, but one is long tubes (Gibson) other is a
shorty (JBA). Anyone know the main differences between the two
designs?

Thanks!

BTW, I got a CAI setup along with the UD Pulley from RPMOutlet.
Pretty good pricing... 2day shipping. We'll see how it goes.

I hear a lot of complaints about the Gibbson headers...dont know any one with the JBA though they are supposed to be good...but both are way over priced if you ask me!!
