Eibach lowering question - 3/13/2007 4:43:04 PM    randy199675   Posts: 22 Joined: 7/2/2006 Status: offline I just got a new set of Kumho 255/45's on my 2005 R/T rear wheel drive.  I really need the lowering springs now!!  I have picked out the Eibach ProKit.  Do I need a camber adjustment kit or modification to add the ProKit.  It should drop it the average levels.  My tire place's mechanical shop will put on the springs for me.  They thought that I would be good without a camber adjustment.  I appreciate it if anyone with experience with lowering a 2005 R/T rear wheel drive would help me out. Status: offline Hey Randy ...first of all let me say that I am by no means an expert on this subject. I do however have pretty much the same setup that you're going for. The car is going to need an alignment after the spring switch and it was not necessary for me to get a camber kit. Many will say that you should get the shocks and struts replaced with ones designed for the lower springs. That's probably a good idea but I did not do this and I've been okay now for probably 20,000 plus miles on the factory originals. So far my Prokit has not been any trouble for me and I think that it really makes the car look and handle 1000% better. The only thing to keep in mind is that pot holes are not our friends.
