Default HELP Ignition Switch Troubleshoot and Replacement

[align=left]Hi All, First off, Love my D. I have replaced the throttle position sensor, and the ball joints, and it has had the regular service with no other issues.

However, I had a problem with the factory radio going off. I found that if I just turn the key very slightly forward while going down the road that it would come back on. Now it is also afecting my turn signals as well and doesn't seem to respond to the old ignition jiggle. Saw a post about replacing the ring light and intend to do that as well. I am going to replace the ignition, hopefully keep the lock cylinder and original key, Right? and the light as well. I have a repair manual that should guide me thru the r and r process, but wanting to see how many others have had, or have this problem and get sany tips available that will save me some grief.
Thanks in advance,
Haz.
