air leak/wind noise? - 3/11/2007 11:06:07 AM    archie440 Posts: 8 Joined: 9/13/2006 Status: offline On the 2006 Daytona and or Charger has anyone turned their music off long enough to listen to the quiet sound? Has anyone heard an air leak coming from ?? I have yet to pinpoint it. I have found no water leaks yet from the rain. It's not coming from the sun roof. I tried turning the heating on different settings and the sound was the same. It appears like either from the windsheild or ???  Anyone have ideas?? Post #: 1

I drove a Kenworth that was bad about doing that going into the wind. At least it's not like what my brother had to fix when he worked a a Chevy dealership. Oklahoma Highway Patrol brought in one of their Camaros and said at 90 the windows were pulling away from the body and it was creating a bad air leak. Well theres only one way to diagnose a problem like that so he had a good time with that one. After he fixed it they brought it back about two weeks later saying it was doing it at 150 now.
