Don't hold your breath but the price of Gas will drop as the summer draws near,It won't be as low as we all like but it'll drop close to the 2.00-2.20 range.
The U.S. has subsided the damage we suffered from Catrina & we have balanced most of the "so called (crude oil depletion)crices" .
I my self look forward to this & you will see that there will be a stableization this.

They said the reason behind the raising of the price is because of the lack of production and the high demand. They stopped production for maintance and for the "big" switch over for the new gas. The funny part is the prices here just finally dropped to what everyone else in the country a month ago, and now it's going up again. I was enjoying the price of gas running at 2.30 for regular.

I find it funny would people drive 14-19 mpg vehicles and complain about gas prices, they're digging their own grave.
If A LOT MORE people were driving gas sippers I bet you gas prices would be well under $2/gal right now.
I only drive the gas hog dakota on occasion when I NEED TO USE IT. I don't just waste 3 times the amount of gas as my neon for the fun of it. I'm doing my part, now everyone else can step up too.

Well, considering I have a child, a fiance who can only work so much with the baby, a mortgage, a truck, child support (which costs more than my truck for a child I haven't seen in 10 years), and currently only one income, besides the fact I bought my truck 2 years ago before any of this happened, and prices were still under 2.00/gallon, I'm going to complain. If I could afford another car, say a Neon, I would buy it. Right now, it's not feasible.

I just paid $1.04 a litre today which works out to 3.34 US a gallon. That is for regular 87 gas too. The sad part is gas was just .75 in january (2.41 US). Southern Ontario suffered a gas shortage recently and some stations started running out of gas for up to a week at a time. I dont plan on using the truck every day so I am hoping to ride out this recent spike in prices. What really gets me is the instant something goes wrong the prices shoot up but take weeks to go back down. It would not be that much to regulate the gas prices, Nova Scotia does this where the price is set every two weeks by the government so no station can charge any different price. http://www.gov.ns.ca/news/details.asp?id=20060627004. Not sure if it would catch on in other parts of North America but is a good idea.
