Egr code, I replaced the egr valve assembly, and did the upper and lower intake gaskets, as well as 2 of the 4 o2 sensors. Miss is at high vacuum light throttle. Plugs, wires, and coilpack , pcv valve are all new. I'm at a loss as to what may be the problem. Miss was there before I changed the tranny, but no CEL till after the tranny change.

You say a code 32, how was that obtained/ is that a P032 from a scan tool, or a MIL 32 from the flashing engine light method? They both mean diffrent things!

Thanks for the reply, code was obtained from MIL flashing I do have a scan tool but no code book for the car. It is a 96 es with 3.5v6, 133,000 miles. I have also changed the Idle control motor. Miss is worst under light load at about 50 mph. Brian

I can translate the codes. There may be more info derived this way, so read them and post them here. I will let you know.

sorry for the long wait, I've been off line... Now for the code, yes, it is EGR flow low. I hate to say it, but It could be related to the O2 sensor! Which two have yoy changed?

I changed the pre and post ones on the left side, I disturbed them when I changed the tranny. I may have fixed it last night. I took new egr valve off again to make sure there was no carbon in it, and found gasket for tube running up to intake looked bad. I sealed it up with some permatex red and put it back together. So far the cel has stayed out and miss is much better, still a slight one under load. Thanks for all your help, I plan on changing the other 2 o2 sensors anyway. Car has 133,000 so it's due.

The slight miss under load, could be a vacume leak (I hear it's common). Of course it could be lots of other things (dirty injectors, sensor slightly out of range, ect). Glad to hear your low flow is fixed. You must have been pumping exhaust gas into the engine compartment and sucking it in for "clean air". I guess that could account for the EGR low flow causing an engine miss.
