for some reason i've never been happy with the amount my headlights light up the road compared to other cars. i've put bright whites in and it helped a little but nothing compared to some. Are HID's the brightest? anybody else have some ideas as to which bulbs to buy? thanks

go with a HID conversion kit, be sure to look at the Kelvin rating,. this is the color of the bulbs, this will run you around 200-400 bucks, you could also try a set of HID simulation bulbs i have a set in my 02 I have been very happy, dont get cheap crap tho good set runs around 30-40 dollars...

cool, thanks for the info.. exactly what im looking for. what brand of bulbs are you running and what would be the best place to get them? i looked on ebay but all they have is the $13 crap.

this is what i use and recommend to people... https://www.streetglow.com/cgi-local...=/page=hid.htmjuts don't get them off of ebay, they arn't well taken care of and burn out quickly, go to a audio shop around town they should have them too

Ya, i use Silverstars i got mine at Autozone for about 40$ i also got Silverstar Fogs those where about the same price... either i paid 40 for all of them or 40 a set i cant remember/

But they are tons brighter, like batman said, i cant wait to try the new silverstars.

Meh. I enjoy my silverstars.... howevvvvvver....

I leveled my truck off, and the headlights are like right in everyone's eyes, even after adjusting them down some... I can't help it, I get flashed maybe 1 outta 40 or 50... so it's not like it's constant.

i only have the stock headlights but mine are white not yellow and i would get brighter ones, but i cant afford it and have some more important things to do on my truck, but iw ill keep this in mind when i get som $$$
