I was looking at the Grand Prix and Altima...but ultimately decided that I liked the design of the Avenger best.

Even though I'm having great difficulty trying to get my hockey bag into the trunk!

As soon as I shrink the JPG to fit the 500kb that the site allows, I'll post a pic.

Email me the pics at twistedillusions24@yahoo.com and I'll resize them for ya if you need help....

The SE is a 2.4 Liter 4 Cylinder
The SXT is a 2.7 Liter 6 Cylinder (mine came with the E85 Flexfuel motor)
The RT is a 3.5 Liter 6 Cylinder

Need some help turning off horn with keyless remote - 4/2/2007 4:09:18 PM

Ok this is for any SE owners out there without EVIC.  I've gone through the owners manual a number of times and I can't turn off my horn whenever I lock the vehicle.  It's really annoying.  I don't mind the lights, but the horn is loud as hell.  This is what I do by the owners manual.  I hold down the lock button for four seconds then press the panic button and release both buttons together.  I've done this about 8 times and still nothing.  Any help out there would be appreciated.

The SXT motor posting is wrong....

The SXT comes w/ two motor options,

2.4L World Engine (I4)
2.7L V6 w/ Flex fuel capability

I hope this corrects any confusion

There's instructions for turning off the horn without EVIC in the owners manual, but that doesn't seem to work.  It's getting pretty annoying.  I don't mind the lights flashing, but the horn is just too much.

8000 Mile update....
Mileage = ~ 30 mpg open Highway
                   24 mpg City traffic
I drive 120 miles round trip a day... in bad Chicago traffic.
The three day trip 360 miles takes 15 gallons of gas.  The same mileage
as my 2003 neon 2.0

I did get caught with the bad door about 3000 miles...
Opened the door at the ATM and it woudn't close had to drive while
holding the door closed from the inside... much easier over 70
The parts and the recall were not out yet according to the dealer
... so they just fixed it to get the the door to close... It was
funny that the dealer did not know about the pending recall on the doors...
I knew it just from google....

Had the recal service at it's 6000 mile oil change... (Get the oil change
package from the dealer... I have changes till 2014 for about 3 bucks
an oil change)

Well now for the bad news... It's leaking engine collant under the passenger side nose.
Left a good sized puddle over night. but the level is normal on the
overflow tank... jacked it up and it was slowly driping.  I needed to remove
the plastic cover under the splitter to see exactly where it was comming
from..but screw it... Ill take it in to the dealer since it is a new car..

I will report the cause / cure back when if the Dodge boys figure it out.

I know... pictures... pictures....
Still no scratches or chips @ 8000 miles...
The first one is the worst.

I just picked up my silver SXT 2.4 world engine yesterday and I love it. I got the sunroof as well. Traded in my 2001 Ram with a bad tranny. I plan on getting limo tint on the back windows and on the eyebrow and get 25% on the front windows and sunroof. First time owning a car rather then a truck but I really like it. Wnat to put in HID headlights just not sure of the conversion yet. Here are a couple pics I took while at work.
