Zetsche announced that following next year's introduction of the two-mode hybrid Dodge Durango and the 2009.


As for those who say I'd rather have a diesel over a hybrid. How about a diesel hybrid like the Opel Astra Diesel Hybrid.In town there wouldn't be diesel idling, unless very cold out and just beniffits of both worlds.

I'd take a hybrid if they built one that would run on electric and / or gas...like the Ford Escape or Toyota Prius. Those can be tweaked to get more distance electrically, with little or no detriment to driving...
