Chrysler had something similar in the late '60s for the Roadrunner. It did the opposite, instead of spinning when you stop these wheel covers didn't move when the car was in motion. They were extremely rare and were a white disc with the running bird on it.

I have never seen one going down the road with them before but it must indeed look weird. I'll try to find a picture of one to show.

Hey guy, i'm sorry , but I take great offense to some of the stereotypical stuff i'm reading about "rappers" all wearing gold chains and such. I agree with you all that the picture with the hummer does indeed look RIDICULOUS....., but please refrain from stereotyping....Please? (Ihope I dont anger anyone, but I have been stereotyped my whole life, until someone has an opportunity to carry on a conversation with me)

I knew someone would get mad... LOL! Don't get me wrong, some of the coolest guys I know are the sterotypical 'rapper-boy' type, but deep down they are freakin AWESOME people. But it does seems most enjoy the little tires, huge wheels on no matter what vehicle... right? LOL!

I'm not stereotyping, I thoroughly enjoy my 'rapper' friends! Have to remind them to yank up their pants everyone once in awhile, but they aren't packing heat, selling drugs or any of the other things people think. And they can be so genuine... but that has nothing to do with what you look like on the outside... Wink

So, 4DRVIPER, I'm sorry you are offended, don't be. We love all!! :)

BTW, I like the spinning rims personally. Some look goofy, but I've seen several patterns that ROCK. I wouldn't put them on my truck, but they are cool! LOL! Gold rims... I hate... don't get me started. Hahaha!

I wasn't saying all rappers have bling bling, some are just starting out and don't have any money to buy that yet. no I'm j/k lol. It was to get a picture in sombodies mind, it wasn't to put anybody down so whats the difference.

We don't mean to offend anybody, so sorry if you were.

H3 is based off the Colorado/Canyon platform, there is one more Hummer going to be in the works after the H3, the H4. So that will be about it for Hummer for now!

It was a great idea that got neutered by it's popularity with the SUV craze, so it ended up what it is now.

to many hummers, it's taking away what the real "H1" thing can do.

what could they do to the H1 to make it better? what add GPS, the things are already over 100k maxed out in options. if it's a Hummer it should have an independent chassis, not sharing one with GM. the H2 can't do many of the things that a H1 can do because of the chassis.
