Every blue moon I get a small fog when I start the car. It usually happens after its been parked in the garage for a while, but that's not always the case. I mentioned it to the dealer, and they even pulled some plugs, but couldn't find anything wrong.

If I were still driving a smal block Chevy, I would say I have a little oil getting around a valve. I have to assume its the same thing here, but they can't fix those now and then things very well.

my dealer is dong a consumption test again, I did not lose any oil in 1000 miles, I then checked it at 1800(from fresh oil change) and had lost 1/2 quart.

other then this the car runs real strong.

If your car has sat for a few days, there will be build up of moisture in the exahust system. A little steam (which looks like oil burning), is ok.

DaimlerChrysler has not released any TSBs or recalls and they actually are very good about staying on top of these things

I have never seen any smoke on start ups. I have had my Mag for 3 months now. But, I have major smoke once I let off the throttle between 100-150 mph. Last time I saw it, it had to be 2 -3 miles long before it cleared out. I hate wasting gas that way. It still was fun though.

Yes, I had smoke out the right exhaust and it turned out to be a scored cylinder wall. Only had 900 miles on the car. We thought it was vavle guides which are prone in this 6.1 L motor, but it had a score on the back cylinder on right hand bank the entire length of the cylinder wall. They replaced the motor.[:@]
