I'm not sure if this has already been discussed yet or not, but seeing how no company wants to make a suspension lift for our daks ('05 and up) I was thinking about doing this. Buy the 2" leveling kit to raise up the front, and get taller lift blocksto lift up therear. Has anyone done this yet?? or is it even possible?? I like my truck except for the fact that it is way to low. Any other ideas on getting some height out of these daks would be nice. I looked into a body lift, but seeing how I have a manual and all the kits I've found are for automatics that idea is out.

I brought this up a few months ago but didn't get many responses... you could do a mini lift with the leveling kit and 1-2" blocks.
My truck is in the shop right now getting a set of Dueler AT Revos. I already have the level kit andam about to order 1" blocks to keep a moderate raked look. Might not sound like much but after larger tires, etc it willbe around 3" higher. I did talk to the guys at ProComp and they can fabup something customif your desperate but way too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for me.
Are we talking about the heavy duty spring plates from that site? If so, would we need just the plates or do we need them with the shock and sway bar mounts?
Instead of blocks for the rear, wouldnt it be a better choice to just get an "add-a-leaf" kit with larger U-bolts. I hear you can get about 2 inches in the rear for 30-50 bucks, and this increases your max payload. I am riding on 265-75-r16 tires with everything stock, and I got a 1.5 inch lift simply because the side wall of the tire is 1.5 inches larger, and the whole tire is 3" larger in diameter. This made a nice difference, and the thicker tires look good. I am looking for a bit more also though. What does this $300 dollar kit use for the lift? Its a body lift right? Isnt that a bit different?
Do you know where we can get an add-a-leaf setup for our trucks? If we had that option I would much rather go that way.
The body lift is just that. It basically just lifts the body and bed of the truck 3 inches off of the frame so that you can run larger tires. I personally don't like them because of the way it looks when it is done but if it's the only optionthen it's worth it. I only want about2 inches of lift on my truck though so I have a few options.
