Default 99 3.9L ABS/Check Gages/Brakes light

I just picked up a 99 dakota from my brother that has some issues. The ABS, Check Gages, and Brakes light are on. He says that when he had a remote start system put in the techs messed something up. I searched the forum but couldn't find the answer to my question which is as follows: he has lowered the truck and is for some unknown reason put on smaller than sock tires on the stock wheels, could either of these mods trigger these lights to stay on?

Default RE: 99 3.9L ABS/Check Gages/Brakes light

I had the ABS and brake lights come on for no apparent reason and it turned out to be because of a bad RWAL brake sensor (or speed sensor) on the rear differential. As far as the check gauges light, I don't know of an answer. Are your gauges working correctly? Might be a fuse if the gauges aren't working right. Hope this helps or at least spurs some better advice.

thanks for the tip on the speed sensor, the gauges seem to be working right that is what had me perplexed.
