Default changing cat myself and i dont have a welder how can i reattach the new cat

im replaceing my catalytic converter but i dont have a welder and my stainless exaust on my dakota 3.9 1999 is welded how can i attach it back easley any ideas thanks and any suggestions on what catalytic converter to buy and muffler

Ouch, they are not welded from the factory. Gotta love the aftermarket exhaust shops. I would buy a factory cat-wait a 1999 should be covered for the converter still. Then buy a nice Flowmaster or Magnaflow cat back system and BOLT it in place yourself.

it was all original from factory stainless 2 .50 exhaust sport 12miles on it when i bought it bran new but see the factory has put 2 cats in it and its starting again so i think its the factory cats

you could go to advance and buy a tube of cold weld stuff and some clamps. it should hold well...
