Default idle help

A long time ago I got a venom 400 chip and hooked it up to the MAS and the TPS. It worked fine for about 8 to 12 moths fine, and now I have idle problems. could that be the problem over a long time like that. also i have a Automatic battery protector if anybody knows what that is please tell me, I wanna try to clean that part every talks about teh AIC, but not sure if i can or if i would mess anything up, cuz i dont know what im doing but sounds like it would work.

The venom chip was your first mistake, unhook it and throw it away. Do a search on Stealth316.com, there are detailed instructions for removing, testing and replacing the IAC.

You just have to work a screwdriver (philips head) in there and unscrew it. Careful not to stip the screw head of the bolt or drop it when it comes free. You shouldn't have a problem..?

Okay,
I tookout the IAC and cleaned it but now when I started to put everything back... I put the negative wire back on the battery and as soon as I put on the positive it sparks as soon as it touches.
I tried vice versa, and it's the same result.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?!
-Thank you.

As long as you are putting the terminals back on properly, you should get very little to no spark. Make sure nothing is turned on or you will get a spark when you complete the circuit.

Yea I was an idiot and left the key in, Ok so now after hooking everything back up I tested it out again and when it worms up and I start to drive it still starts to drop when I strat to brake,
What else can it be other then the IAC, could it be the Idle screw being losend up or anything like that?
