Third pic down. I really wish I had the before and after pics... but my stupid hard drive crashed, and I lost like something around the lines of 400 - 500 pictures I had of my truck and the work I've done to it.
Just make sure to get em greased when they go on, I never got mine greased, and they are some squeeeeky SOB's

I don't know what you have to grease, mine still aren't. I just remember saying someone said they greased their's.. I think it was.. iluvmydak .. I think..
If it were me, however, I'd grease the whole thing, just drop it in a can of Crisco or something. Just kidding. ;-)
I would start off by greasing where the bolt goes through to be perfectly honest.
RE: Who's got the rear leveling lowering shackles???
I bought a set of Springtech on eBay from some guy in Uncasville CT. I haven't stuck them on yet. Plan on doing it in the next couple of months along with some new tires. My instruction sheetdoesn't mention greasing anything. I think if you're installing polyurethane bushings you're suppose to grease to stop them from squeaking buton my shackles the bushings are already pressed on so I guess they prelubed them.

Yeah "Springtech"/Ebay special is the only maker of these shackles
Yeah like I said...I had a pair of these last year but just never got to put them on. There weren't instructions included but it looked very straight forward.
Should just put the rear on jackstands, put a jack under the differential, jack it up a little & undo the factory shackles, lower the diff. a little, slide the new shackles in and then jack it up and tighten them down. Or something like that, right???

The shackles already come with the bushings installed, but Frenchy was saying to lube them up....like where the bolt goes through the shackle and probably on the outside (between the factory hanger & the new aftermarket shackle's bushing)....it's not gonna hurt to do it
