Hemi Sports Package, is it worth it? Is it limited?
Dealership here has 3, 4x4 Hemi Sport, black, red, and silver all equipped the same. $39405, they came down to $33k. The exact equipped truck without the sports package was $34k. The Sport does look better but hard to justify that much money for a hood spoiler, not ram air hood, running boards, taillight guards, chin spoiler and a body kit.
Are these limited editions like the Rumble Bee? I cant find an invoice price, anybody have that info?
Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like it may be a local edition deal. The local dealer here did a couple Neon like that last year that ended up being more than an SRT-4. WTF were they thinking. I think they still have one of them.

No its not a local dealer thing. Its on the Dodge window sticker and I ve seen them on other lots. The salesman said Rousch Racing did the package for Dodge. But no performance additions. It also has the Dodge accessories. They are only available in black, silver and red. I just wish the Rumble bee was offered in the quad cab.

there are 2 different "sport" pakages
first one is the sport option evident by the non chrome bumpers
second is the hemi sport package. This combines the sport option with the body kit from the dodge ram accessory booklet, billit gas door, and a big sport decal. same extras as the rumble bee.
RE: Hemi Sports Package, is it worth it? Is it limited?
I've been looking very closely at getting on the the HemiSport Trucks as well. The one thing I haven't been able to nail down is just how much of a "limited edition" they truly are. I have 3 Dodge dealerships within 20 minutes of me, and all three have at least 2 of these in stock. In total, they have 5 Flame Red, 2 Black, and 2 Silver. I don't know if that means that demand isn't really up to their expectations or that they aren't really all that "limited" after all.
In my area, the sticker price ranges from $38 to $39K and I've been quoted invoice prices of $35,202 and $35,278 from two dealers. The HemiSport package has an MSRP of $2,600 on the sticker so I figure the invoice price for that package is around $2,288.
Based on the research I've done online, I'm estimating that the true invoice price of the truck is somewhere around $34,000 depending on which specific options the truck has. I thought that they would be pretty 'standard', but of the ones I've seen there are always one or two little differences (no bed liner, power adjustable pedals, etc.).
So, I've gotten two dealer quotes: One offered me his 'dealer invoice" of $35,378 and the other 1% over his invoice of $35,202 ($35,554). Toss in up to $4,500 in rebates and you're looking at the neighborhood of $31K for this truck. On the internet, I've managed price quotes of $26,698 and $33,018. I'm still trying to figure out what's "wrong" with the $27K truck....
I'm leaning toward making an offer, because I think it's a gorgeous truck. I'll probably start with the dealer who quoted $35,278 and try to get him down to around $34K. Assuming my estimated invoice price is correct, and a 3% holdback, that still gives him a profit of about 4% and gives me a great truck for under $30K when you factor in the rebates.

Yellow04Quad,
The 4x4 alone adds about $3K to the MSRP of the truck. I don't know all of the options you have on your truck, but all of the following add up to a good bit of extra option on the HemiSport as well:
It sounds like you got a hell of a deal on your truck, but I do think that if you can get the 4x4 HemiSport for less than $30K then it's a pretty good deal for the extras.
