Default Charger Daytona Paint Code VS Chrysler Tangerine Pearl Coat??

Hello Everyone, I am new here and had a question for you all. I have a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback that I am going to have restored and I wanted to know if anyone knew the paint code that was used on the 2006 Daytona Charger RT called "GO MANGO" I think the code is PVE, can anyone confirm? Also, I see Chrysler had a color called "Tangerine Pearl Coat" which looks very simular. Are these the same color or different??? Thanks!

Aaron

Default RE: Charger Daytona Paint Code VS Chrysler Tangerine Pearl Coat??

Now your talking stuff that I love GO-MANGO

Your right PVE is the paint code for GoManGo, I looked that up when I first got the car.

It seems there are several Tangerine Pearl Clearcoatpaint codes:
2006 Dodge Charger
Tangerine Pearl Clearcoat VE/PVE
2006 Dodge Magnum
Tangerine Pearl Clearcoat VE/PVE
2007 Dodge Magnum
Tangerine Pearl Clearcoat PVE

I'm not sure what the prefix VE is but not knowing more about this stuffI'd guess their identical.

Here's some goodsources for paint codes:

CarData

PaintScratch(scroll down to use the second "Searching by Paint Name" andtype "tangerine")

Also search by paint code PVE and see what shows up...I got a Tangerine not aGoManGo
