I'll start this from the beginning. A squeaking sound came from my engine, not a really loud one but one you could hear if you were on the outside of the car while the engine was running. I brought it to my dealership informed me that my A/C tensioner was going out. They claimed that it could eventually come off if not replaced. I decided to just remove the A/C belt because I don't have the time to work on this right now. I have to make a trip on Saturday to go back to my university. It is a 400 mile trip. The Drive belt (Serpentine Belt) is still attached which controls everything except the A/C belt such as the power steering pump, the alternator. I just want to be sure, will this cause any problems other than not being able to use the A/C which I don't need right now.
