I've rented a Nitro for a few weeks.  Got 20.7 mpg from Westfield Mass. to Harrisburg Pa. Speed was around 70-75.

Congrats Roger. I'm looking at trading in my 98 Dakota on one now. I don't really need the pickup bed so much as the ability to tow a ski boat or ATV trailer. I know the thing is rated for 5000 lbs (with the Trailer Tow Group option) but still haven't heard from anyone who's towed more than a 2000 lb camper.
20 mpg works for me. About 7 or 8 mpg more than my Dakota got on any day!
